What is EC2 Service and how to create EC2 instance In AWS?

Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud(EC2) is a Web service using which you can get virtual computers in the cloud. If you are planning to buy computers and servers for your business then no need to invest heavily in hardware you can get it as a virtual server in the AWS cloud. In this blog, we are going to learn how to create an EC2 instance in Amazon web services. so let's get started!!!!

Note: In this blog, we are going to tell you how to install instance for window, in the next blog we are going to tell you how to install Linux instance.

Step 1: First Login to your console as we have shown in the previous blog. after that, you can see your Amazon dashboard like this, first go to compute service, and click on EC2.

Step 2: After Clicking on EC2 your EC2 dashboard will be open as shown in the below image, click on the launch instance button(and you can see how many running instances, key pairs and so many things from here).

Step 3: Now as you can see in the below image after clicking on launch instance you will get this on your screen, now you have to select what type of instance you want in our case we are going to select the first one(free tier eligible) that is the window instance and click on the select button.

Step 4: Now you have to select what type of instance you want to install, here we are going to select free tier eligible as marked in the below image and click on review and launch button.

Step 5: After clicking on the launch button you will get a screen like in the below image, leave all the settings as it is as mentioned in the below image leave by default, and click on the launch button.

Step 6: After that, you need a key pair for your instance, so select create a key pair option and give a name for your key pair and click on download key pair option as shown in the below image.

Step 7: Click on the launch instance button as shown in the below image.

Step 8: After you will click on the launch button you can see the launch status as shown in the below image.

Step 9: See your launch status as shown in the below image after finishing launching you can see the view launch button on your screen, click on that button.

Step 10: As you can see your instance now you can check your instance type and your instance state which is running in the below image.

Step 11: click on the connect button beside that launch instance button, you can see the connection method, click on download remote desktop file, and get the password button.

Step 12: Click on choose file and select your PEM file, here in our case it is MYKey1.pem file.

Step 13: After it will decrypt your file you will get the decrypted password for your instance, copy that decrypted password.

Step 14: Now go to your system where you downloaded your EC2 instance file, click on that file as shown in the below image.

Step 15: when you will click on that file it will ask for you to connect or not click on the connect button.

Step 16: After that, they will ask for the credential enter the copied password as shown in the below image and click on the OK button.

Step 17: After clicking on the OK button they ask for the verification because it will not get verified so they will ask for the permission to connect click on the YES button as shown in the below image.

Step 18: Your instance is ready, you can see the virtual computer now you can perform your task whatever task you want to do.
